Masahiko Yomoda has been trained in various prestigious restaurants around the globe alongside some of the most famous and best chefs in the world. From Chateau Restaurant Taillevent Robuchon under the master Joel Robuchon in Tokyo then off to France where he worked with Alain Chapel in Restaurant Vivraishe.
It was back in Tokyo where he headed up Restaurant Arbace that he was awarded the coveted Michelin Star for his individuality and style.
In 2008, Yomoda came to Sydney where he took over Galileo Restaurant at The Observatory Hotel. Here he was awarded One Hat by The Good Food Guide and established himself as one of the top chefs of Sydney.
Now taking the helm at Blancharu, Yomoda is keen to put his own stamp in the Sydney culinary scene where he presents his take on French cuisine with a touch of Japanese influence.
